Could be going crazy
Well Jonny Huntsman is in the news again running his mouth about stuff that should be contrary to his conservative party beliefs. I cant believe I am saying this but I agree with the turd. Kind of. It is all about gay rights. I don’t think that gays should be able to marry, however if they are a couple that have built a house together and are in a serious relationship why shouldn’t they have the right to see their partner in the hospital if they are in an area where family only is allowed in visitation? If they are paying for the insurance why shouldn’t they be allowed to put their partner on their policy? Lets be honest here, the insurance companies already have us in a strangulating death grip around the neck so why shouldn’t we be allowed to put who we want on our policy? I can opt. to put my future wife on mine. They way I see it this isn’t about gay rights it is about our rights as Americans. It would be a legal nightmare writing up the law and making it so that this could work but it has perks for straight people also. If two elderly sisters, brothers, friends for that matter, decide to move in together in their golden years to help off set the price life why shouldn’t they be able to help take care of each other? I understand that people think that this is one step too close to marriage between gays and I am with them but if the state of California (one of the most liberal states in the country) votes down marriage between gays I think all we would have to do is put it to a vote and it would be voted down faster than the gays can blink. If you work in the United States of America, are a legal citizen of the US, pay your taxes and you are the one paying for your insurance policy then you should be able to say who is going on your policy. Its pretty simple when you think about it. Marriage no way, but the freedom to choose how you live your life. Yes, the freedom to choose who you provide for and how. Yes. Perhaps I am going crazy with this cold I am suffering from, after all I am agreeing with Jonny boy!
