3rd day of Obama

Tuesday we got out our new President, weather you voted for him or not as an American it is a special day for all of us, by freedom of choice we elected a new leader to pilot the ship that is the United States of America through the next four years. President Obama gets a clean slate and we should all rally around him as our President not just the President of the democratic party. Obamas speech Tuesday was great, he said all the right things as usual. This is how I felt on Tuesday.
Wednesday I was becoming sick of it already, all I had been hearing is how great of a man he is and how history is being made. “The first black president.” they said which I found odd because the people on the TV telling me this are the same people saying that we should all be blind to color of peoples skin. I guess that is only the case when you are talking bad about them but crazy me, I thought this whole time it applied both ways, weather they did bad or good the color of their skin shouldn’t matter is what I gathered from all the pretty people telling me what the national news is on the TV. Also they went on and on about how great of a President he is. HELLO! He hadn’t even been the president for 24 hours! In baseball you don’t talk about how great the pitcher is when he is drafted, that part comes up after he wins the world series for the team! But perhaps I was over reacting, perhaps I was feeling a little pissy because it wasn’t my candidate being swore in as president, by that I mean Mitt Romney. So I said to myself calm down Schuyler your just being a poor sport and these people are just excited because they won let them have their glory every thing will simmer down in a day or two.
Thursday the idiot showed his true colors by signing his first executive order which was to close down Guantanamo bay. For those who don’t know what that is GITMO is the place they send all the people that are suspected of plotting terrorist acts aginst the United States and try to get as much info out of them as they can while keeping them under lock and key. Some of the people behind 9-11 are there right now and they are just going to shut it down. A year form today the order says it is supposed to be shut down. So the first question I asked myself is where the hell are they going to put the people that are in there right now? Turns out Obama doesn’t even know right now, he had to turn to his attorney general and ask him what they were going to do with them, and guess what he doesn’t know! He tells Obama, while on national TV, that they need to work that detail out still. HE STILL SIGHNED THE EXCUTIVE ORDER!! Oh my goodness what a ride we are in for.
Tuesday I had hoped that President Obama would have a successful presidency and as an American I support him as my president. I will support him but oppose him when necessary. Today I say I hope he falls flat on his face his success after what he has done today means a big fat kick in the ass to the USA and he will carve a scar on our nation that will be seen for years to come. I hope that for Americas sake he fails at all he will try to do so that America as we know it today will survive.
